Abhishek Singh

Abhishek Singh is a renowned security R&D leader with over 15 years of experience in driving research and threat detection engineering. He has worked for some of the biggest names in both the tech and security industries, including Cisco, FireEye, Microsoft, Prismo Systems, and Acalvio Technologies. Singh is a holder of two Master's degrees in computer science and information security from the prestigious College of Computing at Georgia Tech, as well as a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

Singh is an inventor or co-inventor of 25 issued and 6 pending patents, authored 17 research papers, and published seven technical whitepapers. He also authored some of the books in Springer’s advanced security series in which he explored detection algorithms, analytics and architecture. He has presented his research findings at some of the world's top cybersecurity conferences, including BlackHat, CansecWest, RSA, and Virus Bulletin. His research has been awarded numerous accolades, including the 2019 Reboot Leadership Award, the 2018 Péter Szőr Award, and Cyber Security Professional of the Year - North America at the Cyber Security Excellence Awards 2020.

Singh specializes in research and threat detection engineering, impactful innovation, technical leadership, rapid prototyping, translating it to a product, and team management. He has experience in multiple facets of cybersecurity, including endpoint, RASP, DAST, deception, IPS, and algorithms to detect web, email or endpoint threats in real-time.
