Highlights
This book is incredible! I picked it up after reading Klara and the Sun. I was expecting it to be dry reading, but it wasn’t. It’s almost unbelievable that the same author wrote both of these books because of how completely different the narrators sound. It truly showcases his mastery over language.
I can confirm that pottery has a positive impact on mood. I learned pottery in Bangalore about two years ago, and it reminded me of the joy of creating with your hands. It’s easy to get into a state of flow once you get through the first few days of slow progress.
If you are in Bangalore try it out. Pottery teachers and studios in SF are not as good :( and I haven't continued practicing since the studio environments in SF are asocial.
