Child Rights Advocate (she/her/ella)
Abena Hutchful is a passionate advocate committed to championing the rights of marginalized youth, ensuring they have the freedom to live, learn, and express themselves in just and inclusive spaces. With a strong educational background, Abena studied at Northwestern University Pritzker School Of Law, earning a Master of Laws and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in Legal Studies, International Law, and Law. Prior to this, she pursued Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Political Science at Wesleyan University and also studied American Studies at St. Andrews School. Abena has enriched her professional experience through roles such as Staff Attorney at The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights, where she continues to make a difference, and as a Pro Se Clinic Volunteer Attorney at New Sanctuary Coalition Internships.
