Abeera Shahid

Abeera Shahid is a dedicated student at McMaster University, pursuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with a specialization in Global Health. She is a recipient of the prestigious Loran Scholarship, which highlights her exceptional leadership skills and commitment to community service.

Throughout her academic journey, Abeera has taken advantage of various internship opportunities to broaden her horizons and gain valuable experience. These include roles in the non-profit environmental sector in Kenya and involvement in public health research projects in Australia.

As the Founder of McMaster CAPE (Community Advocacy through Partnership in Education) and Former Director of Outreach for the Foundation for Student Science and Technology, Abeera demonstrates a strong passion for making a positive impact through community engagement and education initiatives.
