Hakeem Buge is a mission-driven entrepreneur, dedicated to building products that cater to people’s needs, while empowering them to create sustainable services and products. With an academic background in engineering and renewable energy, Hakeem’s expertise lies in the intersection of technology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. After obtaining a 2.1 MEng in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Exeter, Hakeem held various positions in sales and engineering internships, with companies such as Solynta Energy and NNPC.
In 2016, Hakeem co-founded theUp.co, a startup that provided mobile device charging services in public spaces. After a successful rebranding to ChargedUp, the company pivoted its focus to CleanedUp, a platform connecting people to eco-friendly products and services. Currently, Hakeem is the co-founder and head of customer success at FounderTribes, a company that provides online courses, learning materials, and mentorship to help entrepreneurs build successful startups.
Throughout his professional career, Hakeem has leveraged his engineering and entrepreneurial skills to create products and services that can transform society.
