Having joined PIRG in 2002, Abe has primarily worked with college students, harnessing their energy and passion to drive positive change.

His efforts have led to the successful passage of laws promoting zero waste initiatives, enhancing voting systems, and safeguarding consumers in the energy sector.

Abe Scarr holds a BA in Philosophy from Haverford College, providing him with a solid foundation for his analytical and strategic approach to advocacy work.

He has held key positions within various PIRG chapters, including Director at Illinois PIRG, Director at ConnPIRG, Organizing Director at MASSPIRG, and Project Director at Student Empowerment Training Project.
