Abdihakim Sheikhdon is an accomplished Electrical Engineer with diversified expertise in various energy sources including diesel, coal, solar, and wind power plants in Somalia.

With over a decade of experience, he specializes in planning, designing, construction, operations, and maintenance of small to large captive and utility scale electricity generation plants.

Abdihakim is a certified SMA and GSES trained Solar Engineer and holds a PMP certification from the American Studies of Professional Studies, USA.

Over the last five years, he successfully completed EPC work on over 100 MW of diesel and solar power plants in Somalia, catering to a wide range of clients from private companies to government organizations.

His notable clients include USAID/GEEL, World Bank, UNDP, UNOPS, FAO, African Development Bank, Somali Government, and NIS Foundation, demonstrating his extensive experience in managing projects funded by prestigious institutions.

Abdihakim Sheikhdon is actively involved in providing training to 50 engineers from electricity companies in Somalia, emphasizing his commitment to knowledge sharing and capacity building in the field of solar power engineering.

He is the Founder and CEO of Delta Engineering & Consultant Ltd., showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills in establishing and running his consulting firm.

Abdihakim's strong network includes collaborations with national and international consultants, equipment suppliers, and financial institutions, highlighting his strategic partnerships formed over the years.

With a background in Electrical Engineering and Power Engineering from Red Sea University, Abdihakim Sheikhdon possesses a solid academic foundation to complement his practical experience and certifications in the field.
