Jean Redfield is a versatile executive with an impressive track record in management consulting, manufacturing, and electric utilities. As a thought leader in tech commercialization and innovation, she has demonstrated exceptional skills in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, managing start-ups and leading various initiatives. Jean earned a BA in Biology, Ecology, and Environmental Systems from Washington University in St. Louis, pursued a BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering at The University of Memphis, and completed her MBA, Management, and Decision Sciences from the prestigious Wharton School of Business, University of PA. She served as CFO at Fordsell Machine, Instructor for Cohorts 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 at the Department of Energy’s Energy I-Corps Program, President and CEO at NextEnergy Center and was a former Strategic Initiatives Manager at NextEnergy Center. Prior to that, she worked as Manager, AVP, President at DTE Energy, Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey and Company, and Field Engineer at EI DuPont de Nemours.
