Bruce Cooper
Bruce Cooper is an award-winning product designer with a demonstrated history of providing innovative solutions to everyday problems. With a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Carleton University, Bruce has honed his skills to create products that have made their way to the patent office, White House, and Chatelaine magazine covers.
Bruce's journey into product designing started with a pain point in his back while teaching his daughter how to ride a bike. He transformed this experience into the award-winning Kickstart kid's bike, which makes it easier for parents to teach their kids how to ride. Bruce's love for research and his insight-driven approach has helped him create some of the most innovative products.
Apart from his degree in Industrial Design, Bruce has also completed his Continuing Education Certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts from George Brown College, and Culinary Arts Certificate from the same college. Bruce has a wealth of experience in the product development industry, including experiences as an Associate Product Development Manager, Senior Product Development Consultant, Product Development Consultant, and Product Developer.
With his desire to create better products, Bruce has worked for various organizations, including Canadian Tire Corporation, Joseph Mimran & Associates, Teknion, and Browne and Company - Cuisipro Division. Bruce has also served as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University, where he pursued his education in Industrial Design.
