Abby Ward is an introverted professional thriving in an extroverted role within graduate medical education, demonstrating a keen interest in listening to the stories of applicants, faculty, and residents to foster understanding and connection.

With five years of experience as a Program Coordinator in internal medicine residency programs, Abby values lifelong learning, adaptability, and transparent communication as key to personal and organizational growth.

Abby is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development, complementing her Master of Education in Human Resource and Organizational Development and Bachelor of Science in Consumer Journalism, all from the University of Georgia.

Her professional journey includes roles such as Program Coordinator at the University of Georgia, and previous positions at HealthStream, Inc., and St. Mary's Health Care System, where she honed her skills in administrative support and program coordination.

Passionate about driving positive change within Graduate Medical Education, Abby focuses on implementing strategic interventions to enhance professional practices, clinical learning environments, resident well-being, and overall program performance.
