Abbott Matthews

Abbott Matthews is a seasoned professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in security operations and international relations.

He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Latin American Studies at Colby College and pursued additional studies in economics at Universidade de Brasília and international relations at Universidad ORT Uruguay.

Abbott also holds a Diploma from Episcopal High School and has further honed his language skills through programs at Middlebury College and Universidad de Salamanca.

In his professional journey, Abbott has held key roles such as the Global Security Operations Center Manager at Facebook, Latin America Security Operations Center Manager at Facebook, and Security Operations Center Manager at Security Industry Specialists.

His experience includes working as a GSOC Support Operator and Client Support Leader at iJET International, as well as serving as an Intelligence Analyst on the Americas Team.

Abbott has also contributed his expertise as a Mentor for the U.S. Fulbright Student Program, Research Assistant at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, and English Teaching Assistant for the U.S. Fulbright Student Program.

Moreover, he has lent his skills to the U.S. Department of Defense, William J. Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, both as an Academic Specialist and a Research Assistant.
