Abbey Onn

Abbey Onn is the Executive Director and Co-founder of Nevo Network, an organization dedicated to elevating Olim (immigrants to Israel) in the tech industry.12 She moved to Israel with her family in 2015 and has since been actively involved in creating opportunities for immigrants in the Israeli tech ecosystem.1

Professional Background

Before her role at Nevo Network, Abbey served as the CEO of InsideIL for four years, a platform that connected MBA students with internships in Israel.1 She has over 20 years of organizational leadership experience, particularly in higher education and non-profit sectors.3

Education

Abbey holds a Master's degree in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University, which she completed between 2002 and 2004.5 Prior to that, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The George Washington University from 1999 to 2001.5

Role at Nevo Network

As Executive Director, Abbey is instrumental in running Nevo Network, which was established in 2020 by Michael Eisenberg.1 The organization aims to create a strong network of Olim and their supporters within the Israeli tech ecosystem.2 Under her leadership, Nevo Network offers:
