Mark McLoughlin, a Senior Distinguished Engineer at Red Hat, has made significant contributions to the open source world as a leader for over 15 years. After studying Computer Engineering at the University of Limerick, Mark began his career at Intel as an Intern Software Engineer. He continued his career at Sun Microsystems and joined Red Hat as a Software Engineer, working his way up to Senior Distinguished Engineer. Mark's expertise led him to become the Technical Director of OpenStack and later the Senior Director of Engineering. He has served on the board of the OpenStack Foundation and is currently a Director at Red Hat.
