Amanda Diep

Amanda Diep is a communication and social media professional with a strong background in climate activism and sustainability. She studied Meteorology at San Jose State University and earned a Master's degree in Weather, Climate, and Society at the University of Miami.

Throughout her career, Amanda has been involved in various organizations engaged in climate change communication and environmental activism. She started out as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's before she took on several internships, including a stint at Climate Central, Inc. and the National Parks Service's Golden Gate National Recreation Area, where she worked on Climate Change Communications and as a Climate Change Intern, respectively.

Currently, Amanda is the Communications Manager at Global Footprint Network, and she previously worked there as a Social Media and Communications Associate. Before that, she held an internship at the Alameda County Green Business Program.

Her experience and skills center around climate change advocacy, social media management, communications, and sustainability. Amanda is passionate about educating the public on environmental issues and making a positive impact on the world.
