Shar Steed is an accomplished marketing and public relations professional with extensive experience in project management, branding, and multicultural marketing. With a master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communication from Florida State University and a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of South Carolina, Steed has honed her skills through various roles in both the private and public sectors.
With a keen eye for detail and strong leadership skills, Steed has successfully led deadline-driven projects and managed teams to deliver high-quality results. She has worked as a Senior Communications Specialist at the Computing Research Association and as a Marketing Associate at the American Association for the Advancement of Science. In addition, Steed has experience in alumni engagement and recruitment, having served as Vice President for the DC Gamecocks - My Carolina Alumni Club of Washington D.C.
Steed's diverse professional background includes previous roles as a Public Relations Intern at Moore Consulting Group, a Teaching Assistant at Florida State University, a Research Assistant at Florida State University, and as an Integrated Marketing Intern at the University of South Carolina. She has also worked as a Marketing & Communications Associate at the National 4-H Council.
