Leo Wan is an accomplished entrepreneur and scientist with a passion for creating impactful products and services from scientific research. He obtained his Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and HBsc in Biochemistry from the University of Toronto, where he developed excellent research, business development, and management skills. Leo is the current CEO of Ranomics, a genomics company that utilizes CRISPR technology to develop disease-resistant crops and complete large-scale genomics projects. Before becoming CEO, he served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Ranomics, where he helped the company raise over $15 million in venture capital funding. He also worked as a Ph.D. Candidate and Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Toronto Mount Sinai Hospital.
