Margit Daams

Margit Daams is a business anthropologist with a focus on corporate culture and project development.

With over 12 years of experience in the creative industries, Daams excels in innovation and entrepreneurship, having founded two companies and an incubator for designers, artists, architects, and academics.

From her tenure at Arts & Business Norway, Daams expanded her expertise to include arts and business collaborations, emphasizing the benefits of interdisciplinary approaches for forward-thinking and innovation.

Currently serving as a Senior Advisor Culture at Innovation Norway, Daams concentrates on supporting entrepreneurs in the creative industries, a sector that continues to grow and drive job creation while adding value to global products and services.

Her specialties include Creative Industries, Art-Based Innovation, Co-creation, Cultural Analysis, Project Development, Process Management, Innovation, Ethnographic Research, and Cultural Complexity.

Daams holds a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Oslo (UiO) and has also studied Process Management and Innovation at Oslo and Akershus University College.

Throughout her career, Daams has held various roles such as Senior Project Manager at Arts & Business Norway, General Manager at Ikada, Founding Partner at Work & Travel Company AS, Owner/General Manager at Kulturell Dialog AS, Human Resources Coordinator at Statnett SF, and Project Coordinator at Statkraft.

She was also a team member and co-initiator at TEDxOslo, showcasing her commitment to fostering ideas and collaboration within diverse communities.
