Dave Barr

Dave Barr is a seasoned software engineering leader, with a plethora of experience ranging from early-stage startups to large corporations like Hewlett Packard and NetApp. With a degree in Computer Science from the University of Dundee, Dave has brought innovative SaaS and Infrastructure products to market, delivering results through the implementation of agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Dave has taken on leadership roles, serving as the CTO of Alchemer, the VP of Engineering, Operations, and Security at JumpCloud, and the VP of Software Engineering at SolidFire, Inc. He has also worked at Nirvanix, LeftHand Networks, and Spectra Logic, playing an instrumental role in building strong engineering cultures and designing organizational, technology, and process changes to meet the needs of the businesses.
