Aashish Chandra is a digital transformation and technology leader with over 20 years of experience driving business innovation using technology. With a successful record of developing highly scalable online, mobile, data analytics and digital platforms, Aashish has served in various leadership roles, including IT Leadership (equivalent to CIO & CTO), Board Member, Co-founder / COO, Startup & VC Advisor, Visiting Professor, and an EIR (VC/PE). He is known for his deep insights into business culture across the US, UK, Europe, India, and Australia. Aashish Chandra's honors and awards include being a winner of the SF Bay Area 'CIO of the Year' Award, Silicon Valley '40 Under 40' Award, and several patents filed.
Aashish Chandra studied a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering at the Vellore Institute of Technology, and completed an Executive Management program specializing in Business, General Management, and Organization from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
Currently, Aashish Chandra serves as the Global Head of Technology - Retail, CPG, Travel, Transportation & Hospitality Industries Cluster at Tata Consultancy Services. He serves on the Board of Directors and acts as an Advisor to several high-tech startups and Venture Capital firms in Silicon Valley. He is also a Visiting Professor/Guest lecturer at several esteemed universities and an avid speaker at dozens of CXO events globally. Additionally, he co-founded Big Data startup, MetaScale, and graduated from the executive education program at Stanford University.
