Aaron Smith is a passionate advocate for prison reform and entrepreneurship, aiming to help individuals Escape the Odds of returning to prison.

After graduating from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Music Business, Aaron found himself incarcerated for 9 years and 5 months on drug charges.

Upon his release in February 2019, he recognized the entrepreneurial potential within the incarcerated community and founded Escaping the Odds Media to showcase successful re-entry through business ventures.

Aaron's mission is to highlight the success stories of formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of humanizing their experiences and changing societal perceptions.

Through Escaping the Odds, Aaron promotes the idea that physical and financial freedom are crucial for a prosperous life and offers opportunities for donations, sponsorships, and speaking engagements to support his cause.

With a strong belief in the power of entrepreneurship to combat recidivism, Aaron is dedicated to reshaping the narrative and providing hope for individuals re-entering society post-incarceration.
