Aaron Shockley, M. Ed, is an accomplished Esports coach with a successful track record in leading teams to playoffs and national rankings.
With a Master's degree in Education (Sports Administration) and a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, both from Central Methodist University, Shockley has a strong educational background in the field.
Throughout his career, Shockley has held various coaching positions, including Head Esports Coach and Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Central Methodist University.
He has also served as a Competition Council Member at the National Association of Collegiate Esports and gained experience in coaching and development roles at organizations like Boonville Soccer Academy, Dynasty Sports Agency, and Endeavor Agency, Inc.
During his tenure, the Esports program under Shockley's leadership achieved significant milestones, such as eight playoff appearances, multiple national rankings, and a 100th program win.
In 2018, the Overwatch team earned its first-ever playoff berth, establishing a new program record. The Hearthstone team also reached its highest national ranking at No. 2 during the regular season in the same year.
In 2019, Shockley's League of Legends team went undefeated and secured the ECAC Gold Division League Championship, showcasing his coaching prowess across different Esports titles.
His teams have consistently excelled in competitions, with notable achievements like Hearthstone and Fortnite teams making ECAC playoff finals, and Overwatch reaching NECC playoff finals, with impressive national rankings for various teams.
