Aaron Michel is a successful entrepreneur and investor with a passion for startups and seed-stage investments. He studied Environmental Policy, Politics and Law at Boston University, then went on to earn a dual degree in Government (MPA) and Business Leadership (MBA) from Harvard University. With a wealth of experience under his belt, he was recognized by Venture Capital Journal’s 40 Under 40 in 2019.

Michel's last venture, PathSource, was acquired in March 2017, and he now focuses on seed stage investments in companies like Reggora, Fairmarkit, Nickson, Postscript, Deepscribe, ShelfEngine, Signos, Kyte, and others. He is also an advisor at the UCSF Digital Health Boost Program and sits on the boards of Art in Action and the San Francisco Workforce Investment Board.

As a former Mentor and Startup Competition Judge at Alchemist, MassChallenge, and the HBS New Venture Competition, Michel is well-equipped to help young entrepreneurs find their footing in the industry. Additionally, he was previously a Partner at 1984 Ventures, Executive Vice President at AcademixDirect, Inc., and Product Manager at Serious Materials - positions that provide him with a unique perspective on the industry.
