Aaron Ferber is a seasoned interdisciplinary designer and innovation leader with a strong background in human-centered design, lean methodologies, and a unique blend of design, engineering, and entrepreneurship.
As the Vice President of Design at Ascension, Aaron focuses on enhancing the organization's capabilities through interdisciplinary design approaches to drive innovation and improve healthcare experiences using technology.
Prior to his role at Ascension, Aaron worked as an innovation and design consultant, played a key role in a St Louis-based SaaS startup, and held leadership positions at global design firm IDEO where he led projects in connected technologies, technology strategy, and venture design.
Aaron's educational background includes a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
His professional journey has also seen him contributing to organizations like The Boeing Company, Apple, and IDEO where he honed his skills in various capacities.
