Aaron Cohen is a skilled public relations consultant and former journalist with over thirty years of experience in the industry. After studying Mass Communications and Political Science at Towson University, he began his career as a reporter for the Associated Press and later served as Capitol Hill Bureau Chief at Metro Networks. He then founded his own company, Aaron Cohen PR LLC, through which he has lent his communications expertise to various industries, including health care, science, insurance, manufacturing, retail, and defense.

Throughout his career, Aaron has led strategic communications programs that have generated greater awareness of various public health issues, including the opioid, suicide, and Ebola crises, the need for more humane end-of-life care, and the epidemic of hospital infections. He has also helped shift public perception of the Joint Strike Fighter. Aaron's work has resulted in exponential account growth, and he has held leadership positions at public relations firms like Edelman, Qorvis MSLGROUP, Imre Communications, and Strategic Communications Group.

During his time as Vice President of Media Relations at Qorvis MSLGROUP, Aaron doubled media impressions for the National Council for Behavioral Health and increased the impact of The Optical Society's journal, Optica. As Director of Media Relations at Imre Communications, he helped promote Dr. Angelo Volandes' book, The Conversation, leading to doubled book sales. Throughout his career, Cohen has been committed to advancing his field and served as co-chair of The Professional Development Committee at The Public Relations Society of America—National Capital Chapter.
