Christian Pennotti is an experienced manager with a strong track record of innovation and success in leading teams across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. His expertise lies in strategy and program design, partnership formation and management, resource mobilization and donor engagement, grant and financial management, leading change in complex organizations, and building capacity within teams.

His diverse experience spans various areas including digital financial services, financial inclusion, market systems facilitation, agriculture, food and nutrition security, value chain development, social enterprise, women's economic empowerment, gender equality, M&E system design, knowledge management, and learning. He is known for his high-energy approach and dedication to promoting social and economic justice.

Christian holds a Master's degree in International Development Studies from George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in English from Boston College.

He has held key positions in reputable organizations such as CARE, where he served as Sr Director of Market Based Approaches and Global Director of Savings Groups. Christian is also the founder and board member of Chomoka. His previous roles at CARE include Director of Access Africa Program, Project Director of LINK Up, Senior Technical Advisor of Food and Nutrition Security, and Technical Advisor of Economic Development.

Prior to his time at CARE, Christian worked at AED (now FHI 360) as a Program Coordinator, at QED Group, LLC as an Associate in Economic Development, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer.
