Wayne Williams is a communication expert with a wealth of experience in public service. Williams obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from St. Francis College. He served as an African American Vote State Director at Andrew Cuomo 2018, and he currently holds the position of Senior Policy Advisor to Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries at the U.S. House of Representatives.

Prior to his current position, Williams served as Deputy Chief of Staff and later- Senior Advisor for Intergovernmental Relations at the Kings County District Attorney's Office. Moving on to Executive Director of the Office of Public Engagement, he worked to engage the community and foster more public participation in government. His expertise in policy gained him appointment as Special Assistant to the Executive Deputy Superintendent at the New York State Department of Financial Services.

Williams' political experience includes working as a Senior Advisor to Jeffries for Congress and Deputy Campaign Manager for Hakeem Jeffries for New York State Assembly Campaign. Before that, he held positions as Assistant Director of Intergovernmental Relations at New York State Senate and Deputy Director of the New York State Assembly.
