Michael Pachos is a tech investor and entrepreneur with expertise in microprocessors, semiconductors, clean-tech, nanotechnology, and corporate development. He earned his MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School and his BS in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Pachos worked as a Computer Architect at Intel and DEC before joining Samsung Group's Global Strategy Group (GSG) as a management consultant working with the CEO level of Group companies. He later co-founded Global Velocity, a Hardware Company focused on enterprise security, before joining Samsung Ventures as a Managing Director, first working from the Seoul headquarters and then from the Menlo Park office.

At Samsung Ventures, Pachos focuses on Consumer, Display, and IT-related investments while also sitting on the board of directors or serving as an observer with several portfolio companies, including Welldoc, Light Field Lab, Inc., DeepMotion, and Plume Design, Inc, among others. With his extensive experience in strategy consulting, technology, corporate development, M&A, and venture capital, Pachos brings a wealth of knowledge to the companies he works with as he helps to guide them to greater success.
