Calla Rose Ostrander is a renowned Strategic Advisor known for her dedication towards sustainable development and environmental welfare. Ostrander has an educational background in International Political Economy and studied at the University of Puget Sound. Her skills and experience revolve around climate change, agricultural policy, science communications, and movement building.

In her professional journey, Ostrander has worked with various organizations dedicated to achieving sustainable development goals. Notably, she has supported the advancement of carbon farming, compost production, and climate beneficial material economies in California. Alongside the Jena & Michael King Foundation, Ostrander has played a significant role in scaling regenerative agriculture through strategic organization, fundraising, local, and state policy advocacy.

Furthermore, Ostrander served as the Climate Change Projects Manager for the City & County of San Francisco from 2008 to 2013. There, she created and managed internal sustainability and GHG reporting systems and inventories, the San Francisco Carbon Fund, and community-wide climate and adaptation planning.

Calla Rose Ostrander is an expert in ecological economics, and she has previously worked with Rocky Mountain Institute, Earth Economics, and the Business Council on Climate Change. Although Ostrander was born in Tucson, Arizona, she grew up in the Rocky Mountain West, and attended Shining Mountain Waldorf School in Boulder, Colorado, K-12.
