Paul Schmidt is an accomplished marketer with over a decade of experience in strategy and consulting roles, working with both in-house and agency-side marketing teams. He has expertise in SEO, SEM, social media advertising, sales enablement, lead generation, marketing automation, web analytics, inbound marketing, and e-commerce.
He received a BM in Music Performance, Percussion from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and an MBA, Marketing from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School.
Paul is currently the Director, Inbound Marketing at SmartBug Media and was previously a Senior Marketing Strategist and Strategist & Consulting Team Lead at the same company. He has also worked as a Senior Inbound Marketing Consultant at HubSpot and a Search Marketing Specialist at UpWord Search Marketing. Additionally, he has had marketing and audio identity/branding internships at Elias Arts, Sabian Ltd, and Boston Music Spotlight, as well as being a Marketing Graduate Fellow/Research Assistant at Suffolk University.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys playing percussion in the Littleton Symphony, hiking, traveling, renovating his home, and spending time with his dogs. He has also been a contributing writer at Search Engine Journal.
