At CollegeHumor Media, I led the design team and supervised internal design production for one of the world’s largest families of humor websites. I was instrumental in the inception and launch of CollegeHumor’s subscription service, DROPOUT. I developed brand identity and associated style guides and style sheets for new and existing brands in the CollegeHumor media family. I designed and directed vendors in creating user interfaces and user experiences. I built and continually iterated on prototypes for all of our properties on web and mobile web, iOS and Android, Apple and Android TV, and all other digital touchpoints.

From January of 2012 to January 2014, I led visual design for digital projects within the creative department of A+E Networks (A&E, History, Lifetime and others). Aside from directing visual design of websites and other digital communications for A+E Networks, I was instrumental in launching the corporate rebrand online, including relaunch of the corporate website and entirely new ad sales and press department websites. I continually advanced best practice methods and helped develop capabilities in design and development.

As Associate Director of Design, I was responsible for the visual identity of a host of high profile entertainment brands (Daily Show, Colbert Report, Comedy Central and others) across web, mobile web, apps, connected devices, and other digital platforms. I conceptualized and co-created (as part of specialized teams) unique digital programs and sponsorship opportunities related to those brands.I staffed and managed a team of Graphic Designers (roughly eight people), hired and directed vendors, provided art direction and supervised graphic production from daily maintenance to large scale website and digital product launches. I regularly presented design solutions to senior management and ensured proper implementation of feedback.Prior to that, as the Senior Graphic Designer for the Digital Media Department, I built prototypes for interactive features such as navigation, video players, and game engines, designed websites to promote network programming, and conceptualized and produced banner advertising campaigns.

I spent some time freelancing in the agency world, creating websites, micro-sites, Flash games, rich-media ads, animation, and logos. Primarily at Tribal DDB during this time, I also worked with Atmosphere BBDO, CDMI, CondeNet, MRM Worldwide, MTV Networks, Pokemon USA, and Take-Two Interactive.

My first job in the industry was as a web-focused Graphic Designer for the popular video game publisher, Acclaim Entertainment. During the time I worked there, the website served primarily as a marketing tool, though by the time the company closed shop in 2003, they were beginning to experiment with using the web for more social aspects of gaming. Among my notable achievements, I established the look and feel for the company's entire web presence, designed and coded websites, banner ads, flash mini-games, and digital marketing campaigns for popular video game titles. I also managed junior members of the design team.
