Caitlin Crumpton is a skilled Multimedia Journalist based in the United States. Her passion for storytelling and creative vision is reflected in her education and career choices. She attended James Madison University, where she studied media arts and design as her major and sports communication as her minor, with a focus on digital video and cinema. Her career journey began as a Summer Intern at NBC 12 WWBT/CW Richmond WUPV.
After this, Caitlin worked as a MadiZONE Courtside Reporter at James Madison University, where she showcased her skills in the sports department. She was then roped in as a Content Production Intern for the Cleveland Browns and a Video Production Assistant at Auburn IMG Sports Network. Caitlin's career continued to grow as she became a former Freelance Reporter/Videographer at the University of Richmond and a Freelance Anchor/Videographer at CBS 6 WTVR.
Her skills as a journalist took a turn towards documentaries, as she worked as a Freelance Producer/Videographer/Editor at various non-profit companies like Inner-city Empowerment Program, Art & Abolition Non-Profit, and Epiphany Fellowship Los Angeles. Her current role is Broadcast Associate at DIRECTV Sports Networks, where she continues to develop her skill set in sports journalism.
Caitlin's passion for sports and her innate creativity reflect in her work. With a diversified portfolio of work, she has carved a place for herself in the Journalism and Media industry.
