Juanita D. is a highly educated and accomplished professional with a diverse background in engineering, music, and leadership. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in music at the University of Waterloo, where she also studied engineering. Juanita later pursued a Master of Science in electrical engineering at Michigan State University and at Virginia Tech. She also worked as an assistant for both institutions.

Juanita has held several positions at IBM, including Technical Program Manager, Technician Program Manager, and Build and Release Engineer. She was responsible for Technical Strategy, Tealeaf SaaS, Journey Analytics, and Watson Trend. Her experience with leadership continued when she was the Elected President of the IBM/Hitachi adlibmasters Toastmasters group.

Juanita also had several professional affiliations, including the Club Menor and Leadership Consultant at the Toastmasters International San Jose Mandarin English Club; she was elected to serve as the Vice President of Education for Adlibmasters at Toastmasters International. Also, Juanita was a Philanthropy Chairman for the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority that she belonged to while at Zeta Omega Chapter at Michigan State University.

In her free time, Juanita has been a President of the Taiwanese Student Association at the University of Waterloo, Vice President of the Eaton Elementary School Parents-Teachers Organization, and has even been an electronic technician. Her wealth of experience in leadership, engineering, and music is evident in her multi-faceted career and her passion for service.
