Meet Greg Andersen, a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in governance, risk and compliance, cybersecurity architecture, and holistic business process management in relation to information security. He has worked for various renowned organizations, including CleanCo Queensland, Alcorn Group, and Cyber Audit Team, among others.

Greg's expertise lies in several areas, including information assurance/security, customer service, network security, systems engineering, system administration, and hardware maintenance. He has a demonstrated history of providing support to a vast client base, ranging from home users to large government organizations, with up to hundreds of thousands of users.

Greg began his IT journey as a teenager, providing IT, networking, and electronics technical support. Afterward, he transitioned into a career in information assurance and security engineering in 2005, working in the US and Australian defence industry. Later, in 2016, he began working in the local government sector in Australia.

In 2017, he ventured into security consulting to provide governance, risk and compliance expertise underpinned by ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST Risk Management Framework, and PCI-DSS to various state and local governments and commercial industries. His client base consists of non-profit, arts, education, legal, medical, automotive, industrial, transport, travel, and food service organizations.

Currently, Greg provides cybersecurity advisement at CleanCo Queensland, leveraging all his past experience. He studied Associates, IT, Network Engineering at Douglas Mawson Institute of Technology (DMIT).
