Al Wright is a distinguished emergency management professional with over 30 years of experience in both civilian and military settings. He has served in various responsible positions in government, including Emergency Preparedness Administrator at the Fulton County Government and Plans and Policy Coordinator at Lockheed Martin, where he developed emergency response plans for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

As the Emergency Preparedness Administrator at Fulton County, Mr. Wright was in charge of managing the county's all-hazard public health emergency preparedness and response program. In his previous role as Emergency Preparedness Supervisor, he supported emergency preparedness initiatives with local hospitals and other response partners to ensure an integrated and concerted response to emergency events like bioterrorism, weapons of mass destruction, and pandemic influenza.

Before joining the Fulton County Government, Mr. Wright worked as a Network Technician at Sprint Nextel, where he was responsible for the maintenance and repair of domestic voice/data networks. He also served in the United States Army, where he retired as a Commissioned Chief Warrant Officer. Mr. Wright holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies from Columbia College and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Prevention Science from Emory University.

A natural leader, Mr. Wright has also served as the Commander at AMVETS Post 44 and Executive Administrator at wRightway Transformslives, LLC. His vast experience in emergency management and network technician skills, along with his degrees, have made him a valuable resource in the industry.
