Michael Butler is a highly experienced food and beverage professional with an extensive background in the industry. With a focus on design, operations and menu engineering, Michael has successfully developed multiple concepts for independent fine dining restaurants and full-service hotels. Having managed multiple projects concurrently, led F&B teams to success and designed projects for operational efficiencies, Michael's skills are wide-ranging, covering menu development, recipe development, cost analysis and solid presentations.
Holding an AAS in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University and having studied Hospitality Administration/Management at Florida International University, Michael has held various senior roles in the industry. Previously working at McKibbon Hotel Management, Auro Hotels, Vision Hospitality Group, Inc., JHM Hotels and the Cliffs Communities, Michael has developed particular expertise in early-stage start-ups and companies wanting to make changes to their existing operations.
