Minda Brusse is a seasoned startup operator with experience in venture investing and fund management. She co-founded First Row Partners and currently serves as a Venture Partner at 2048 Ventures. With a career spanning over two decades, Minda has assumed leadership roles as an angel and fund manager within Grubstakes and the Seattle Angel Conference. Minda is also a mastermind behind The $1k Project, a volunteer collective that directs cash relief to vulnerable families impacted by the pandemic, and has helped $3.3M reach 1,100 families in need as of December 2020. Passionate about community service and the visual arts as well as tennis, Minda has mentored startups and entrepreneurs at esteemed universities like University of Washington, Princeton, Santa Clara University, and more.

With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Retail Management and History from Santa Clara University, Minda honed her expertise by completing the Women Board Directors Development Program, Executive Education at University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Minda's professional journey began with internships and management consulting, and she transitioned to tech startups in the late 1990s, where she has been a lynchpin employee or co-founder 5x. As a generalist that combines curiosity with critical thinking, Minda has enjoyed advising and supporting founders along the way.
