Scott Brodbeck is a skilled journalist and news operator with extensive experience in the media industry. He is the founder, editor, and publisher at Local News Now, an organization that operates several news websites in Virginia and Washington D.C., including @ARLnowDOTcom, @TysonsReporter, @RestonNow, and the upcoming @AlexandriaNow. Scott's experience in journalism spans over a decade, working as a content producer at NBC Universal, producer at Tribune Broadcasting, and writer for FOX Broadcasting. He is also a founding board member of LIONPubs, a local online news publishers organization. Along with his journalism experience, Scott has also lectured at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, bringing his real-world media experience to the classroom. He holds an MBA from Georgetown University – The McDonough School of Business and a BA in History from The George Washington University. In his spare time, Scott enjoys running, and he is a proud father and a Steelers fan.
