Lisa Braithwaite is an experienced public speaking coach and mentor with over 15 years of expertise. She helps purpose-driven leaders in businesses and non-profits deliver compelling presentations that engage audiences, increase visibility, enhance credibility, and promote influence. Lisa delivers various workshops, including Audience-Centered Presenting, Taking Your Presentation from Stage to Screen, Tightening Your Talk for Maximum Impact, Ditching Perfection and Creating Connection, and Transforming Audiences from Spectators to Participants, among others.
Lisa Braithwaite has a creative and educational background, having studied a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Pomona College and an M.A. in Education from UC Santa Barbara. Lisa's experience in speaking, training, and community outreach and advocacy, since 1992, has led her to found a non-profit organization focused on gender equity and Title IX. She is also a CliftonStrengths® fan, and her strengths include Activator, Positivity, Communication, Maximizer, and Adaptability.
Beyond her experience as a public speaking coach, Lisa is also a published author, with "Presenting for Humans: Insights for Speakers on Ditching Perfection and Creating Connection," and a former contributor and Happy Achiever at 1 Habit. Lisa's professional experience also includes positions as Training Coordinator at Tri-Counties Regional Center and Director of Programs at Morgan Foundation.
