Deputy Brigade Commander

Brigade Executive Officer for a Training Support Unit. Second in command to the Brigade Commander. Manage a budget of 2 million dollars. Responsible for leading 11 separate Staff Directorates within the unit. Responsible for implementing the Brigade Commander's vision for the organization. Extensive experience in change management.

Brigade Executive Officer

Served as the Director of Joint Information Operations in a forward deployed environment in Amman, Jordan.  I was responsible for all strategic communications for a corporate level equivalent headquarters.  Worked at the U.S Embassy in Amman, Jordan as the Military liaison to the U.S Ambassador and the Defense Attaché.  Coordinated efforts between the state department, USAID and other governmental agencies in order to accomplish strategic objectives.  I was responsible for negotiating key agreements with foreign country governments and ensuring that our organization remains on glide path strategically.  I was also responsible for planning operations that synchronize other directorates within our organization.

Military Liasion to U.S Embassy Jordan

My responsibilities included supervising our psychological operations program, strategic communications, public affairs, consequence management and operational security.  During our deployment to Iraq, our primary mission was to modify the behavior of our adversaries and the general population.  Our focus was on mitigating attacks against U.S Forces through non-lethal means.  We also focused on changing popular opinion about the host nation’s security forces while decreasing the public’s opinion about terrorists operating in the region. Director of Brigade Information Operations

I was a Company Commander for a fleet of 24 Avenger weapons systems and 6 Early warning radars. I was responsible for 149 Soldiers and their families. I was charged with the responsibility of starting this company from its inception. We received new equipment facilities and established our organization.  I was responsible for the maintenance of over 50 million dollars worth of equipment and managed a budget of 1 million dollars. I was responsible for assessing the strategic direction of our organization on a quarterly basis.  I was also charged with identifying inefficiencies within our organization and given autonomy to make process improvements.

Company Commander

I served as the Assistant Director of Battalion Operations. My responsibilities included managing the personnel in the Battalion Tactical Operations Center. I was directly responsible for all combat operations conducted within the Battalion. I provide guidance and instructions to combat patrols that conducted daily missions throughout Iraq and also manage a staff of 7 personnel.

Assistant Director of Battalion Operations

Responsible for all supply acquisitions for a 465 person battalion. Responsible for managing a 3 million dollar budget. Responsible for accountability of all associated equipment in the battalion. Ensured that all subordinate units were properly supplied with necessary items prior to deploying to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom III.  Deployed to Iraq and was responsible for acquisition of all classes of supply in support of theatre operations.

Director of Battalion Logistics

I was responsible for all logistical acquisitions for my battalion. I managed the battalion's budget of 5 million dollars and ensured that all subordinate units within the battalion were supplied with all acquisitions received. I was also the facilities manager.




Indexed Universal Life, IUL

I spent 22 months as a platoon leader during Operation Iraqi Freedom 1. I was responsible for 47 Soldiers to include their training, morale, and welfare. My organic equipment included Air Defense Early Warning Radars, which were employed across the Iraq area of operations. The equipment was valued at 20 million dollars.  I was rated by my battalion commander as the best platoon leader in the entire battalion.
