Kyle Brown

Kyle Brown is the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Footpath Ventures, a growth equity fund focusing on private opportunities in India, China, and Southeast Asia.

With over 15 years of experience in investment management accounting and operations, Mr. Brown has held key positions in reputable firms. Prior to Footpath Ventures, he was the Senior Controller at Thayer Street Partners in New York, a private equity firm specializing in technology-enabled businesses.

Before his tenure at Thayer Street, Mr. Brown served as the Chief Financial Officer at Emerging Sovereign Group (ESG), an asset manager concentrated on emerging markets. His professional journey also includes a role as a Manager in the Asset Management Group at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he provided assurance services to Alternative Investment Funds and Investment Advisors.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Public Accounting and Financial Management, along with a minor in Economics, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Additionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant since 2008.

Apart from his current role at Footpath Ventures, Mr. Brown has been associated with Swinburne University of Technology and held positions such as Former Senior Controller at Thayer Street Partners, Former Chief Financial Officer at Emerging Sovereign Group, LLC, Former Controller at Emerging Sovereign Group, LLC, and Former Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
