Marissa Simmons is a licensed California attorney with a diverse background in public relations and entrepreneurship. She has demonstrated expertise in First Amendment, Media, and Internet law issues. Marissa received her Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Georgia State University College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Relations and a minor in Entrepreneurship from Temple University. Her education is further complemented by her experience as a Volunteer Mediator and Panelist at Los Angeles County Department of Business and Consumer Affairs and a former Mediator at Fulton County Magistrate Court. Marissa also worked as a Summer Associate at Katz Stepp Wright & Fleming, LLC and an Entertainment Law Intern at Law Offices of Karen Robinson, Esq. Additionally, Marissa served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Atlanta Compliance & Ethics Roundtable and a Public Relations Intern at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Marissa is a former President of the Temple Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and has prior experience working as an Intern at The Phoenix Public Relations Firm and as a Customer Service Representative at Pizza Hut.
