Roderick Miles is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community relations and partnership building. Miles has a strong background in management and supervision, and has honed his skills in developing and implementing strategies that ensure educational programs are compliant with brand and legal guidelines. Miles studied Psychology at Philander Smith College and has a Masters of Divinity from St. Paul School of Theology. Miles held a variety of leadership positions, including Executive Administrator- Programs & Outreach at Tarrant County Commissioner Precinct 1, Investigator at Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, and African-American Partnership Mgr/Account Mgr. at Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star where he developed and implemented successful partnership models, deployed a College Preparatory Program for high school juniors and seniors, and monitored the activities of both internal and external contacts. He is skilled in building and maintaining relationships with key state and local representatives, partnering with Executives to establish/maintain a rolling 12-month strategic calendar, and identifying and developing new opportunities.
