I have turned my hobby of making soy candles into a small business, which has allowed me to self fund my hobby. I sold wholesale to small businesses and retail to the general public through stalls and regular customers. I developed my own products and catalogues worked out pricing and marketing strategies.  I have a large range of sales skills from one on one sales to large parties of people. Furthermore setting up accounts to sell my candles through shops. I enjoy working with people. I always ensure that all orders are met and customers are satisfied. I have excellent communication skills. Listening, written, and verbal. I have always been classed as a friendly outgoing people person.

I currently manage a portfolio of commercial accounts and assist businesses with their energy needs by building long-term relationships with customers. My main focus is handling contract negotiations and providing tailored electricity and gas contracts. I do this via cold and warm lead generation, face to face meetings, calls and email. I achieved 75% electricity targets - my acquisition strike rate is the highest within the team and helps boost our team average so we can all achieve together. In a competitive market, I managed to achieve over 110% of the gas target in FY20, and I'm set to reach over 150% for FY2021.
I provide information to potential new business customers and how we can assist with their energy needs and help their business move into the future of energy with their stainability targets. 
I strive to maintain and acquire gas and electricity to improve the contracted book and Alinta's commercial net position. To help my team achieve this, I have created email templates for our business customers to unify our message and created information booklets on stainability to help the team have better conversations with customers. Further to this, I developed a strategic and motivational plan for the business sales team to achieve targets and drive sales activity.

While completing a 3-month internship at Roy Hill, I assisted in the budgeting planning process and the business analysis team. In this time, I worked with DMS systems and SAP programs to help prepare the budget assumptions files for the accountants. Furthermore, I was tasked with processing all fixed asset requests that the business analysis team received. And I was generally lending a hand to anyone who needed it.
