Wilson Chau
Wilson Chau is a legal expert, researcher, and policy officer with a decade of experience in the public and private sectors. Chau completed his honors degrees in International Law and Legal Studies as well as International Relations at the University of Auckland before pursuing language training in Chinese at National Taiwan University. He has worked for ANZ, Lowy Institute, and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and was a part-time Political Studies Tutor at the University of Auckland. At the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Chau served as a Language Trainer, Acting Consul, Policy Officer, and Section Head of Economic Affairs. He has also worked as a Policy Officer and Senior Policy Officer at the APEC 2021 New Zealand committee. Chau's expertise in languages and international affairs, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region, has been instrumental in strengthening New Zealand's connections to other countries.
