Kate Bartlett is an experienced property lawyer with an extensive background working in the public and private sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University, where she graduated with First Class Honours, and an Advanced Diploma of Business in Legal Practice. Kate has worked with government entities, statutory authorities, and large-scale property developers on a variety of property law issues, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, licensing, and dispute resolutions.
Kate has held various positions in the legal industry, including Senior Associate, Property & Development at Russell Kennedy Lawyers and Principal at Kate Bartlett Lawyer. She is currently a Senior Legal Writer at LexisNexis, where she writes about current legal topics and developments for practitioners around the country. Kate is a former Committee Member of the Women's Planning Network Inc. and the Russell Kennedy Women's Network.
In addition to her legal experience, Kate has also served as a tutor at Ngarara Willim and as an intern at the Victorian Parliament. She is a skilled legal writer, negotiator, and mediator with a strong interest in environmental law, planning and development, and property rights.
