As the Director of Finance and Operations, my duties have grown to include:

- Using Nebs Payweb software to complete biweekly payroll for a team of approximately 150 hourly employees across seven franchise locations.

- Coordinating the Manulife health benefits application for all of our applicable team members.

- Streamlining the new team member hiring process and training, this project became the catalyst to move the entire administration portion off of paper and into the digital.

- Working directly with our 20+ vendors to ensure all outstanding fees are paid on time, as well as maintain an up to date internal Excel spreadsheet that consolidates all of our accounts payable for easy reference.

- Bringing together the monthly Profit and Loss Report for each franchise location, which includes calculating food and paper costs, labour, and all expenses; these reports are used by the parent company, TDL, to monitor the franchises progress and ensure we are within the regional average.

- Reviewing all business data and using these numbers to assist with forecasting potential changes for scheduling and hiring, as well as to bring down costs around ordering of materials and food.

- Speaking with those in the community interested in our engagement, as well as coordinating with local events and donating product.

- Taking control of all guest feedback, positive or negative, and working with management to improve operations and train team members to better present the Tim Horton's brand.

- Responsible for working with the Clio user base to address all inquiries, troubleshoot issues, as well as assisting with prospective clients.

- Communicated with the Clio user base through email, phone, and chat platforms, including Zopim, Zendesk, Atlassian JIRA and Fonality.

- Collaborated with the product and sales departments on projects intended to review Clio’s current functionality and determine areas of success, opportunity, and pain points; these reviews had an immediate effect on the product road map, as well as improving the Support teams process of working with the user base.
