Carrie Mae George is a highly accomplished and experienced sustainability and responsible sourcing expert. She is a Cornell University graduate with an MPA and a Brigham Young University graduate with a degree in BA. Additionally, she has completed BFA Coursework through The Alvin Ailey School of Dance at Fordham University.
Carrie has worked in various organizations, including Implus, Everledger, Brilliant Earth, Apple, U.S. Department of State, J.Crew, STR Responsible Sourcing, Proliteracy Worldwide, Brigham Young University, Americorps, and Duncan Village Vegetable Nursery.
Carrie's professional experience has enabled her to gain tremendous knowledge and expertise in sustainable practices, responsible sourcing, and impact measurement. She is well versed in human rights and labor, supply chain, and sustainability.
Currently, Carrie Mae George is the Vice President and Head of ESG at Implus, where she leads the company's ESG efforts. Previously, she served as the Vice President and Head of Sustainability & Impact at Everledger and the Director of Responsible Sourcing & Sustainability at Brilliant Earth.
