Odette Blanch is an accomplished film industry professional with a diverse skill set that shines both behind and in front of the camera. She is a trained director, writer, and producer, with a post-graduate degree in Film Studies and a background in theatrical technical production. Odette's work spans across various mediums, including film, television, and stage.
Odette's unique ability to write runs in the family as she is the grandniece of the acclaimed writer, Itic Swartz Cara. She has directed and written a feature film and several film shorts, including Vengeance Circle, Silence in Chaos, and Date from Hell. She has also collaborated on a TV pilot called "Dark Sided Jewel" and is currently working on several projects, including What Did She Say, Dark Curtains, and Cover to Cover.
In addition to her directing and writing skills, Odette has expertise in editing, concept development, proposal writing, and contacting agents and sources. She is an associate member of the Director’s Guild of Canada (DGC) and has had past experience as an assistant director for various companies. Odette Blanch is a driven and passionate filmmaker with a unique talent that spans all aspects of the film industry.
