Lee Edwards is a Partner at Root Ventures and a former CTO & VP of Engineering at Teespring. He studied Engineering - Systems Design at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and has worked at various positions in different companies, including Groupon, SideTour, Pivotal Labs, and iRobot. Edwards invests $1-2M checks at the Seed/Pre-Seed/Post-Seed stage in companies that tackle hard engineering problems, such as developer tools, infrastructure, computer vision, and applied AI/ML. He is interested in working with strong technical teams and can be a lead/co-lead sized investor in rounds ranging between $1-4M.
