Summary
Anthony Doerr is an award-winning American author whose books have been translated into over 40 languages. Born in Ohio in 1973, he attended Bowdoin College in Maine and later earned an MFA from Bowling Green State University. He is best known for his novel "All the Light We Cannot See," which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2015. Doerr has also published several other novels, including "About Grace" and "The Shell Collector," as well as numerous short stories and essays. In addition to his writing, he has taught creative writing at various universities, including Boise State University and the University of Iowa. Doerr currently lives in Idaho with his wife and two sons.
